A new Liberho`s JW winner and more about the kittens

Today I got a SMS from Sweden:Liberho`s New Spirit to Tammee had won her 5th BIS which means that she - like her brother - is now a FIFe Junior winner.

The kittens are now 16 days old and they look fat and healthy.

New Junior Winner 5 x Best in Show in 5 shows

It has been a lovely weekend with super weather. Unfortunately I was inside all Saturday because of the cat show.

I am so proud of my Liberho`s Mykindaguy he won his 5th Best in Show and is now a FIFe Junior Winner. Irene Eek Magnusson (Tammees) came to the show to pick him up. He has already settled down in his new home, playing with his sister and the other cats of the Tammees houshold.

Here is Mios greatgreatgrandmother EC EP Liberho`s O`Heavenly Charmina DM DSM. she is really enjoying the nice weather. She is now 10,5 years old. Unfortunately she has a kidney failure and has some good and some bad days, fortunately there are more good than bad.

SPRING!!!!

Today the spring has come to Skjetten. This is the warmest day this year and we have been promised that this nice weather will stay for a while.

Last year Bajas crept under the fenche, this year he jumps over it. He was on his own for a while, but fortunately som children could tell us where to find him.

Mio enjoyd the sun too. There is a new show on Saturday and after the show he is going to his new home in Sweden.









The kittens are all fine. Gaining weight and screaming as mad when I lift them up.
I think they are all chocolate or chocolate tabbies - no lilacs for me this time:(

He did it again

Today Mio (Mykindaguy) got his 4th Best in Show title. Thank you Aase for taking him to Sweden for me and thank you May Britt and Espen who made it possible for her to do so.
Now we are going the pick up Aase and the cats in Kolbotn. She is due to eyeproblems not able to drive in the dark.
I am so lucky to have nice friends
Liberho`s BossaNova gained the title Grand International Premier yesterday and I am of course very proud of my "Bosse Balleløs" too. (means Bosse without balls).
Bosse and Mio are going to a new show next Saturday and if Mio gets his 5th BIS he is a FIFe Junior Winner.

The 3 kittens are fine, the 4th we had to put asleep because of deformation of the hind legs. It is just terrible when we have to due so, but sometimes mother nature is cruel. I know hope that the 3 others will grow up to be big and beautiful Siamese.

Liberho`s Mykindaguy Best in show in Goetenburgh

Mykindaguy is not only mykindaguy but the judges too. This is his 3rd BIS in 3 shows - do I have to tell I am proud of him. Bosse was nominated too but San-T-Ree Gentle Touch got the BIS. Gently Touch is a guy who really deservered it he is just super. Ch Mylynn MerchantofVenice was the best male, but beated for the best in show by La Bell Demi a beautiful lilac tabby with both my EC EP Liberho`s Limelight Lover and EC Liberho`s
Rachade Astasi in Lilac in her pedigree.

The kittens are born

Yesterday evening Libertine gave birth to 4 kittens,2 boys and 2 girls. One of the little boys has, what we in Norway call "frog legs", and I hope he will be OK as he grows. I have heard that this is possible. The other 3 looks fine.
I must admit that the little girl on the picture
does not really look cute, but she looks very special.
Since the mum is chocolatetabby, and the dad chocolatepoint there will probably be only chocolate/tabbies in this litter, but I have a little hope that there might be some lilac/tabby.
All kittens are already reserved.
I have just had a report from Sweden, all 3 boys are nominated for Best in Show and I am quite excited about what happens in the panels later today.

No kittens - yet

I am still waiting for the kittens and I see now that I can not go to Goetenburg for the show.
I am so glad that my friend Aase ((N) Philipps) will take my boys with her.

I will stay at home this weekend and just relax, well I have probably some housework to do.
As told Elin is riding Islandic horses here is a picture of her and Porri.

My parents summer house is close to a stable so I was riding when I was young too. Last weekend I was visiting Elin and we were out for a ride for almost 3 hours. Do I have to tell that a certain part of my body was hurting??

Knut who is working at the mounted policy in Oslo did of course not have this problem.

Still waiting

I am still sitting in the sofa waiting for the kittens to be born, I will probably sit here for many more days. Well to be honest I have not been sitting here all the time.
I have been to the veterinary with both Charmina and Tango today. Charmina because of her very bad gingivitis and Tango because she is spraying all over the house.
I do not really want to neuter Tango so my vet gave me some tablets, Colmicalm who might calm her down. If it works I will write more about it later. When coming home Tango started to call and I took her to Ch Mylynnmerchantofvenice and hopefully we will have kittens in July.

I love travelling and the last 4 years we have spent 14 days in Egypt in January/February . I love Egypt and I feel so sorry after the bombing attack at Dabah. We visited this litte town in 2005 while we were staying at Sharm el Sheik. The Egyptians are really friendly people who will do everything to do your stay as best as possible. They work from early morning until late in the evening always with a smile. I hope this bombing will not scare people from going to Egypt - they need our money. The ultimate holiday would have been the hotell from Hurghada - Grand Resort hotell, the sea, snorkling and food in Sharm el Sheik (hotell Hilton Shark Bay) and the surroundings in El Gouna.

I think I will go to bed now, I hope Libertines kittens will be born tomorrow night.
